PUBLIC HEARING

1.         This Public Hearing of the City of Cedar Hills, having been posted throughout the City and the press notified, was called to order by Mayor McGee at 7:04 p.m.

2.         Elliott/Olson Boundary Adjustment (7:04 p.m.)

            No comment.

3.         This Public Hearing was adjourned at 7:05 p.m. by Mayor McGee.

COUNCIL MEETING

1.         This meeting of the City Council of the City of Cedar Hills, having been posted throughout the City and the press notified, was called to order by Mayor McGee at 7:05 p.m.

2.         Review/Action on Ordinance Regarding the Elliott/Olson Boundary Adjustment with Pleasant Grove City (7:06 p.m.)

See handouts. There is a subdivision at the end of Monson Place. Pleasant Grove approved the subdivision but cannot provide utilities. Pleasant Grove also addressed this boundary adjustment tonight. The construction of the road and other infrastructure will be inspected by Cedar Hills to ensure that it meets Cedar Hills’ standards. Pleasant Grove has promised that impact fees will be rebated to Cedar Hills. Cedar Hills will not let the subdivision hook onto Cedar Hills infrastructure until the proper fees are given to Cedar Hills. Marvin Watts has said that the impact fees have already been given back to the homeowners. C. Parker recommended that Section 2 read “This Ordinance shall take effect upon passage of a similar ordinance by Pleasant Grove City providing . . .”

MOTION: C. Parker - To approve Ordinance 1-4-2005A, An Ordinance Adjusting the Common Municipal Boundary Between the City of Cedar Hills and Pleasant Grove City, as amended in Section 2. Seconded by C. Fotheringham.
