1.         This meeting of the City Council of the City of Cedar Hills, having been posted throughout the City and the press notified, was called to order at 6:12 p.m. by Mayor McGee.

2.         Presentation Regarding Digital Recording Equipment (6:12 p.m.)

See handouts. Russ Clark of Vectra Solutions gave a presentation on digital recording equipment for the recording of City meetings. The legislature has passed new legislation requiring that all public meetings be recorded. FTR Gold (software program) allows the meeting to be recorded digitally and linked to the minutes of the meeting. The software allows for up to four microphone channels. The cost of the system would be between $7,000 - $8,000.

3.         Report on Fiscal Year 2007 Budget (July 1, 2006 to June 30, 2007) (6:52 p.m.)

See handouts. There are several increases in the proposed budget. They are noted in the handouts.
